"Drawing Day is a worldwide drawing event encouraging everyone to drop everything and draw for the sake of art." Join us in the multiuser online virtual world of Second Life at the sLiterary Drawing Day Gallery on June 6, 2009 (the first Saturday of June) for our yearly Drawing Day marathon—and to add your drawing day creation to the metaverse's Drawing Day Gallery. (Psst, it's free gallery space just for drawing on this one special day in June! Do drop by!)
Drawing Day Gallery is a virtual art gallery in an online 3d multiuser virtual world—freely accessible by anyone, anywhere in the world. In addition to this inworld gallery, SL residents who submit their artwork to the flickr Drawing Day group (and tag with sLiterary) will also have their work showcased in 'patchwork sidebar' in the web gallery @ http://sliterary.com/drawingday/.
Please note: All of our venues are cost-free for public events, facilitating both music and media stream with SL voice access. If needed, event holders may also rez objects in venues. Study-room type spaces in a more modern setting also available at the sLiterary Events Center.
